A personal conviction
My archived reflection on giving ministry away expressed a conviction I want to keep clear: Christian service must not become leverage over the listener. I can share Scripture, offer encouragement and serve without turning that moment into a sale. This is the shape I choose for my own ministry, not a declaration that every minister supported by a church is doing something wrong.
Different work, clear boundaries
Development education, business training and scoped professional consulting are separate commercial activities. They may involve paid engagements under an agreed scope. A devotional, church connection or ministry invitation does not create a professional agreement or imply a discount, endorsement or investment recommendation. I want people to understand which conversation they are having before any expectations about deliverables or compensation arise.
Give without creating an obligation
A person should be free to receive spiritual encouragement and never become a client. The same freedom matters when someone declines an invitation or chooses another church resource. At CBA Orlando, where I serve as Administrator and President, my business is not the measure of belonging. The next step on these pages is a resource for faith or service, with no commercial response expected in return.
